This is the most beautiful cemetery in the Bay Area! ...beautiful trees and rolling hills and natural as they use engraved rocks versus headstone... I returned a week later to buy the space next to my mom. It's that beautiful and incredibly affordable.

Direct or Witnessed Cremation
Our on-site crematorium allows the flexibility of choosing either a simple, direct cremation or a witnessed cremation. If you desire a witnessed cremation, Fernwood’s Crematory is designed according to European and Buddhist standards to accommodate intimate ceremonies and gatherings for family members and friends.

Tree Planting & Memorialization Options
You can choose to personalize your memorial in a variety of ways. We can arrange for you to plant a tree in memory of your loved one, engrave a natural boulder, and keep cremated remains in a wall niche or boulder niche with views of Mt. Tamalpais.
We also have three scattering gardens where remains can be returned naturally to the earth.
